Bidhan Rebeiro (Bengali: বিধান রিবেরু; born 1981) is a Bangladeshi writer. His full name is Bidhan Charles Kollins Rebeiro. His poems, stories and essays has been published in national dailies, online portals and journals. Bidhan has penned a number of books.
Though he mainly writes essays on films, he also writes articles and columns on politics and literature. His debut poetry collection ‘Prothom’(First) was published in 2003. His first book of prose was on cinema: ‘Chalocchitra Path Sohayika’ (A guide to read films, 2011).
Bidhan was the first essay-writer in Bangladesh who tried to incorporate psychoanalysis and philosophy with film discussion. Besides writing, Bidhan Rebeiro has also made several documentary films and television programs. More
